COSTCO
Opening a new Costco isn’t just about putting up walls and shelves — it’s like building a small city. And every city needs a nervous system.
For the latest Costco in Ontario, the amount of cabling we installed for networking and security stretched so far, it’s the equivalent of running a line from Toronto to Niagara Falls — more than 120 kilometers.
Behind the scenes, that “invisible city” powers everything: lightning-fast point-of-sale systems, real-time inventory, seamless staff communication, and integrated alarms.
At Point Blanc, our role was to design and deliver the entire structured cabling and alarm infrastructure — planning, installing, testing, and integrating it all into a system built for scale.
When thousands of shoppers stream through the doors each week, every cable has to work flawlessly. And now, it does.
